On
Babri Masjid Again
From
Aju Mukhopadhyay

It is a good and timely piece by you.
In this respect I wrote a letter to the New Indian Express on 21.3.07 but it did not publish for obvious reasons- I am giving it below:

'The quote from Rahul Gandhi- Gandhis would not have let Babri fall- in your paper on 20.3..2007, besides being a cheap political device need author's historic sense as Hilda Raja has pointed out on 21.3.07. Besides being a country of sycophants we are much below that, at least partially, to deserve to hear such words. Of the family only Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi deserve mention though there were greater contemporary leaders in the country.'

And why need we depend on such persons when we have and had greater leaders- very few though because usually political leaders are below the average man in many respects, it is known.

Thank you,
Sincerely,
Aju Mukhopadhyay
